I bought apple cider this weekend so I could make braised cabbage and apples in cider -- it was the starter for my acorn squash, cabbage, apple soup. But after I was done with that, I heated up some of the leftover cider and sipped it slowly. It was heavenly. I'm definitely with you on having something warm in my cup.
That photo reminds me of some goodies sold at the shop "whimsy and spice" (like chocolate marshmallows). Makes my mouth water just looking at it. Okay, I'm off to read your post :)
