    A friend of mine has a photo of Sophia Loren in a long ball gown with some sort of machine, like a leaf blower, and I have always loved her power, her beauty and her delectable voice...

    your posting reminded me of the time we planted a young tree next to our great grandad's summer home. he was 90 at the time and his comment was ... "how nice ~ a tree to grow so i can nap in it's shade!"
    he was youthful and optimistic til his last breath at 97 ... and we loved him so ...

    Oh Sweet Mel- I LOVE this. While I am 48-eeeks I am really 32. That is my story and I stick to it. It is a state of mind. Having children with such a wide span btween-I can see oddly, that when my older two were tots I was much more mommish in every sense of that word(mom jeans etc) Now that I am considered an older mom I find I can be tens times more hip than many of the moms out there that are 15 years younger. It is indeed ALL a state of mind and a state of my happiness with myself.

    I love your blog. I absolutely love the french themes everywhere. I speak french fluently. It's so nice to see someone with a passion for all things french.

    I'm planning a three month trip to Paris next June. I'm so looking forward to it. I may stay 6 months, I haven't quite yet finalized the details.

    I'm totally in love with the travel journal from your store it's so beautiful. All my friends couldn't think of anything to get me for my birthday which has passed, so I think that they can get this for me for Christmas lolol just trying to help them out.....
