Early risers definitely get the 'birds eye view' of the valley. It's a pretty spectacular event to behold these hot air balloons being prepped for their floating adventure.
I'm curious, would you go UP or keep your feet firmly planted?

I never thought I would, but those photos look pretty enticing!! xxoo :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Such beautiful pictures! I've always wanted to try this.

I don't know...I think I'd love to go up, but I admit, I'd be a teensy bit nervous...especially if my kiddos were firmly planted. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful to look at....from the ground!
ReplyDeleteup up and away!

I usually a wee bit afraid of heights, but I definitely would want to go up in a hot air balloon. There's a big festival down here in the Del Mar area every summer too. Maybe I'll finally get to go.
ReplyDeleteThere is a hot air balloon festival that I am dying to attend. I like to think I would go up, but because of my drastic fear of heights, I am not so sure. These photographs are lovely!

send me up....with a glass of champagne.
ReplyDeleteThese images are absolutely breathtaking. Love the "idea" and imagery of hot air balloons but I'm not sure if I could ever get myself in one for a ride. They are so pretty to look at though...did you get in one?
ReplyDeleteJust to clarify ~ I'm a keep my feet firmly planted kinda gal! Although, my issue with heights is a work in progress. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, I am going to show this to my husband. He doesn't quite believe me when I say I want to go to France and hot-air ballon. Then again, he didn't believe I would para-sail and I did!. Gorgeous! XO and xo
ReplyDeleteThis was our big splurge on our honeymoon in Napa Valley. I am terrified of heights, but for some reason, I was fascinated with the idea of floating around in a hot-air balloon.
ReplyDeleteThat bottom image of the balloon filling up reminds me of a shot I took (with a cheap camera) as all of us passengers waited eagerly to get in the "basket."
I am reliving our honeymoon every time you post about Napa-It's a happy trip down memory lane.

So pretty...we once had a balloon like this land on our home!!! It was kinda frightening indeed...all turned out well but everytime I see one of these I think of that day. hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteI can be a little control freaky, so the idea of going up kind of scares me...but I would like to think I'd overcome it to take advantage of the gorgeous view!
ReplyDeleteUP! Without a doubt. So far I've only seen hot air balloons from afar, on the ground. Would LOVE to be in one.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this pic! This is me!!!!!
ReplyDeletei'd love to go on a hot air balloon ride sometime in my life but i worry that my fear of heights would get me at the last moment. i'd sure like to try though!
ReplyDeleteThis is a dream of mine! Would do it in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I'm in England I dream of taking a balloon ride. They offer them in Bath, and I would love to go, but Mr. Magpie has a few issues with heights. Somehow going up without him seems less fun. I've dragged him to the top of St. Paul's and onto the London Eye, so maybe eventually I'll get him up in a balloon! :)
ReplyDeleteMy Dream to do this...
