The Dog Walker

Being a pug-lover, you will understand why I adore this cover of The New Yorker. In fact, it is now framed and hangs upon the crumb's bedroom wall.

Wouldn't it be divine if dog walking was really this civilized and chic?

  7. You are KIDDING me with this cover, Meliss! L-O-V-E! If only it were a chocolate lab or a pitt-chihuahua mix (no jokes...that's our Paco), I'd have to frame it, as well.

Perhaps I'll make an exception and do so anyway? It is pink, after all. And Devon ADORES her doggies:)

  12. I think the cover is fantastic.:-) I also think that it is possible to wear chic heels while walking the dog. IF the dog is a small sized dog. I have a 170 lb. Newfoundland puppy named Little Mo and I can tell you that I would not dream of wearing heels to take him for a walk. :-))) I love the colors.:-))))

  21. We have saved so many New Yorker covers, but we don't have this one! I once entertained the idea of having a powder-room papered in N.Y. covers! This one is perfect for little Crumbs bedroom.

  22. I tried to teach my dog Baby to walk on a leash today after four years without...and we practically had a fight over it. I'm convinced she's pissed at me :(

    I should show her this!

  25. Hi Mel,

yes..I love the look. I once did a similar illustration of an afghan hound helping his owner pick out a dress at Bergdorf Goodman...ha. One of
the dresses she tries on his nose is in the air and he says.. " now
    that's what I call a dog!" ha..
I'm finally back into the blog world..
and looking forward to catching up... Do come visit my sight and
take a stroll through the garden..
