  12. wow and woweee ...
talk about an image that pulls you in ... so rich and intriguing ... i could just gaze and gaze at it thinking about who lives there and what their lives are like ... immensely romantic ... even the reality of the mundane laundry has that romantic appeal ... and of course, there's 'anna' ...

  18. I started my blog today with a Venice laundry photo too! Was there in June, without kids. And let me just say, traveling without them for the first time was HEAVEN. Totally recharged the batteries.
But I do love showing them the world too (next stop: Mexico). Love the picture of Guapa with the ice cream.

  36. Gorgeous photo, Melissa, and I love this proverb so much. This reminds me of the story of the apprentice who visits the famous philosopher at his home and finds him in his kitchen doing the dishes. The young man is surprised to see the great man doing such a menial chore, and he says, "Master, what on earth are you doing?" The master replies, "My son, I'm doing philosophy." Thank you for your beautiful comment on my blog this week! xoxo
