Oh, Melissa, that's a beautiful quote, and just like what I was thinking about as I watched the blue heron yesterday. I always love visiting you here. You are good for the soul. xoxo Gigi
We came upon a little lake like this camping in the Rockies last summer and I never felt so alive and calm and refreshed all at once! Thanks so much for sharing this. But, I should add, it was the coldest water I've ever swam in followed by a cold cold night in a tent.
Hi Greetings from Coimbatore,India. I came through Turquoise diaries. That is a very beautiful lovely blue mountain lake - so still, calm & deep.Enjoyed the pic and the accompanying quote.
Oh, this is exactly the image I needed today. Thank you. It's beautiful. Also, the trip to Sunset is so worth the drive. It's in Menlo Park, 80 Willow Rod. off 101. And just a while or so away from Stanford (and Sprinkles for a cupcake). It's also quite an historic building. Interesting California history.
Hope you're having a lovely weekend. To answer the question you left on my guest post, of course Aubrey visits my sanctuary! She visits, quite frequently, actually :)
Thank you so much for your sweet note over at Travelingmama! It really meant so much to me and my husband too! Do you know where you want to go in Europe? We just got offered a job in Denmark, so that is a big change, but we are very excited!
Thank you thank you... This is the lake that I swam in during the summers as a little girl starting over 20 years ago... As I've gotten older it's become harder and harder for me to return, seeing this beautiful picture has flooded my head with wonderful memories. The lake is as peaceful and wonderful to swim in as it looks! It's also fun to go sailing on it... ;)
