Calm

"When we are able to make ourselves as still within as an untouched mountain lake,
we have an exquisite reflection of all that is in and around us."

  16. We came upon a little lake like this camping in the Rockies last summer and I never felt so alive and calm and refreshed all at once! Thanks so much for sharing this. But, I should add, it was the coldest water I've ever swam in followed by a cold cold night in a tent.

  26. Oh, this is exactly the image I needed today. Thank you. It's beautiful. Also, the trip to Sunset is so worth the drive. It's in Menlo Park, 80 Willow Rod. off 101. And just a while or so away from Stanford (and Sprinkles for a cupcake). It's also quite an historic building. Interesting California history.

  54. Thank you thank you... This is the lake that I swam in during the summers as a little girl starting over 20 years ago... As I've gotten older it's become harder and harder for me to return, seeing this beautiful picture has flooded my head with wonderful memories. The lake is as peaceful and wonderful to swim in as it looks! It's also fun to go sailing on it... ;)
